Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Single row cylindrical roller bearings feature single set of raceways and rollers. It has two integral roller-guiding flanges on either the inner ring or the outer ring. Therefore, these bearings are axially free floating and separable. The opposing ring may have one integral roller-guiding flange to support axial loads.

In DDR cylindrical roller bearings, the roller-guiding face of the flanges are inclined at an angle to reduce friction between the flanges and the rollers. The rollers feature a crowned profile to prevent high stresses at the edges of the rollers which helps in extending the bearing life.
